1. Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha – Levy of Taxes on Advertising / Visual Environment for the Year 2026
This is to inform the public that the following proposal was approved under Decision No. 06.01 at the General Council meeting held on 11th September 2025 by the Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha.

Proposal
In accordance with Section 122(1) of the Pradeshiya Sabha Act No. 15 of 1987, and under the provisions of the Standard By-Law on Advertising / Visual Environment published in Gazette No. 520/7 dated 23.08.1988, approved by the Hon. Minister of Housing and Construction, the Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha proposes to charge license fees as shown in the schedule below for displaying any advertisement visible from a street, road, canal, or open space within the jurisdiction of the Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha.
