Iththagala Tank is located about 22 km along the Balangoda–Kalawana road from Balangoda town. On the left side of the road near Tanjantanna School, after traveling about 0.5 km, you will reach IththagalaTank, surrounded by scenic hills and naturally fed by several small streams. Local legends say that the nearby Guru Road was historically used to transport milk for the kings. Under moderately warm climatic conditions, this tank provides refreshingly cool water, making it ideal for bathing.
